Make the switch to green energy

Air Source Heat Pumps - The low carbon way to heat your home

Heating your homes with a gas boiler contributes to about 15% of the UK’s total carbon emissions… so the biggest (and easiest) step you can make to lessen your carbon impact is by installing an air source heat pump.

By making the switch to green energy with an air source heat pump, you’re not just investing in your home; you’re investing in a cleaner, brighter future for generations to come.

What about electricity dependence?

Electricity keeps your heat pump alive instead of fossil fuels. And the good new is, electricity in the UK is becoming more renewable every year…

Renewable energy sources such as wind, hydro and solar exceeded a 50% share of the UK’s power in 2023. This means your air source heat pump is running on more and more renewable energy every year.

And if your energy supplier uses renewable energy or your home is powered by personal solar panels, your carbon emissions could reach zero.

The Government’s crackdown on carbon

The government have set out a net-zero plan, including a plan to switch all electricity sources to low carbon by 2035.

As a part of this, gas boilers will be banned from all new build homes after 2025, and it is possible that existing homes will be next.

And to make it easier for you to make the switch, the government are offering up to £7,500 for homeowners to swap out their gas boilers for air source heat pumps, making it a cheaper, greener solution.
